MEMBER SEEDLINGS

HYBRIZING

One of the many pleasures of growing daylilies is creating new varieties through hybridizing.

The links below give a glimpse of some of the results achieved by members of the Lone Star Daylily Society.

2024 MEMBER SEEDLINGS

Whether we call ourselves hybridizers, pollen dabbers, or just let the bees make the crosses, one of the pleasures of growing daylilies is the potential to develop new and different flowers. A few will be submitted for registration, and many more will remain in our gardens for our own and our visitor’s enjoyment.

Each fall, members of the Lone Star Daylily Society have the opportunity to show the new seedlings they have developed. The pages below are our annual Showcase to share with everyone.
